Description This seminar will focus on strategies for use in the classroom to help English teachers develop students’ language skills through STEM-related units of work and activities.
In this face-to-face meeting, participants will:
understand the role of English teachers in supporting STEM education in schools as recommended in the CDC English Language Education KLA Curriculum Guide (P1-S6) (2017); and
hear about experiences of what English teachers do in supporting language across the curriculum in the context of STEM education in their schools.
This is a face-to-face seminar.
This is a refreshed programme similar to that organised in May 2020. Teachers who attended the previous seminar need not attend the current event.
This delivery of this seminar may be switched to the Zoom mode if the ongoing health conditions and regulations change. All registered participants will be notified of any change at least one week in advance.
