Description
This course aims to strengthen teachers’ ability to plan, implement and evaluate (PIE) of school-based information literacy (IL) curriculum in whole-school approach.
After finishing the course, participants should be able to:
(i) plan, implement and evaluate the school-based IL curriculum by referring to the “Information Literacy for Hong Kong Students”;
(ii) design lessons with IL elements;
(iii) help students to use information and information technology effectively and ethically as responsible citizens and lifelong learners; and
(iv) bring in support services, tools and resources to promote IL.
