Description
This course aims to strengthen teachers’ capacity to enhance students’ effective and ethical use of information and to address teachers’ concerns on "Bring Your Own Device" (BYOD).

After finishing the course, participants should be able to:
(i) help students use information and IT effectively and ethically as responsible citizens and lifelong learners;
(ii) formulate school-based BYOD policy and Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) in consideration of different stakeholders’ concerns and adopt relevant technologies, such as mobile device management (MDM);
(iii) formulate school-based information literacy (IL) programme in whole-school approach by making reference to the framework “Information Literacy for Hong Kong Students”;
(iv) tackle issues on BYOD; and
(v) bring in support services, tools and resources to promote healthy and ethical use of information and IT.
