2020-21非華語學生中文學習教師專業發展工作坊系列共十講,為教師提供專業發展的機會。是次工作坊是第七講,探究如何運用文類教學法,提升非華語學生在中文科及跨學科的讀寫能力。
文類(genre)又稱語體,屬通篇層次的語言表達。不同文類/語體發揮不同的語言功能,一般的基礎文類有記敘、說明、議論等,它們各以不同的結構實現其語言功能。文類教學法首先探究語文科及各學科常見的文類,分析其功能、結構和學習重點,進而運用讀寫結合,布置明示式的教學活動引導學生掌握由讀到寫的能力。本工作坊首先由岑紹基博士介紹文類教學法的理論和實踐,然後以中文科、中國歷史科和通識教育科為例,邀請經驗教師容運珊博士、歐國偉老師和陳曉晴老師分享課堂教學設計,說明該教學法在非華語學生課堂的施行情況,以期提高學生跨學科的讀寫能力。
