STEM in the KS2 English Language Classroom (NEW)

Description
This workshop will explore how we use STEM in an English language classroom by using a range of innovative practices to support and engage students in a lesson.

This workshop will enable teachers to:

identify what STEM is and the processes involved;

apply STEM in the HK classroom context;

explore the scientific method and integrate it into the curriculum;

use science activities to facilitate the learning of English;

plan and conduct an experiment using the Scientific Method; and

discuss, reflect and share ideas about STEM literacy.

Remarks

Participants are encouraged to share an example of STEM literacy in their English lessons.

This is a face-to-face workshop. Participants have to wear a face-mask and use the LeaveHomeSafe mobile app for entering workshop venue.
