Description To optimise a small class context and where appropriate maintain the essence of small class teaching (SCT) in a bigger class setting, this programme aims to:
(i) enhance teachers' capacity in planning, implementing and evaluating the school-based curriculum and teaching strategies so as to improve learning and teaching;
(ii) enhance teacher-student and student-student relationships leading to a positive classroom climate;
(iii) establish communities of practice within and/or across schools;
(iv) maintain the sustainability of SCT at school; and
(v) integrate the elements of 'Positive Education'.
