Category: CoursesThis programme aims to equip secondary school teachers with sound knowledge and hands-on practices of e-Learning pedagogies specific for Mathematics teaching, and strengthen teachers’ both competence and confidence in delivering and sustaining e-Learning in secondary Mathematics curriculum.
On successful completion of the programme, participants will be able to:
• demonstrate an understanding of theoretical underpinnings for realising learner-centered learning in the paradigm of learning and teaching for school education;
• advance knowledge about principles and strategies of pedagogical integration of e-Learning elements for realising learner-centered learning;
• apply knowledge and skills of pedagogical principles and strategies for integrating e-Learning elements into subject-specific pedagogical designs for Mathematics curriculum in Hong Kong;
• strengthen both competence and confidence in delivering and sustaining e-Learning in secondary Mathematics curriculum; and
• develop appropriate ICT applications for the learning and teaching of secondary Mathematics.

Category: CoursesThe programme aims to develop participants’ pedagogical knowledge and competence in teaching secondary school Mathematics through investigation of Mathematics concepts in the secondary curriculum, together with exposure to new and current approaches to learning and teaching Mathematics and related STEAM education. Participants will also be provided with opportunities to engage in workshops and exchange ideas through group discussions during the programme, and they are encouraged to share and try out those new ideas and teaching approaches in their schools.

Category: CoursesThe programme aims to acquaint serving Physical Education teachers with knowledge and skills in developing relevant curriculum and carrying out effective and innovative activities for promoting students’ various learning outcome in PE and interdisciplinary collaboration with STEAM approach. In order to cater for diverse learning needs and abilities of the students, various strategies with STEAM approach will be introduced, applied, researched and practiced in order to develop and stimulate students’ interest on PE so as to develop a regular exercise habit for all-round well-being.

By the end of the Programme, participants should be able to:
• demonstrate an enhanced understanding of aspects of rationale for and principles underlying English medium education in Hong Kong;
• demonstrate an enhanced understanding of the role of language in learning;
• demonstrate an awareness of a range of strategies for effective planning and classroom teaching and learning of their own subject through English;
• demonstrate enhanced knowledge and skills using English as the medium of instruction in their own subject.
