21st Century Literacy Skills Series: Designing Instructional Videos for Flipped or Online Learning (Refreshed)
Category: CoursesCourses IconIn this self-paced online workshop, participants will:

  • learn different ways to create an instructional video for flipped or online learning using presentation slides, e.g. PowerPoint (PPT), Google Slides, Keynote, and other e-learning tools;
  • create a short instructional video on a topic from the school English Language curriculum and share it with other workshop participants; and
  • use a set of a criteria to view and comment on at least three instructional videos posted by other participants in the course.

    Remarks
  • Participants will receive 3 CPD hours upon the completion of the workshop in Canvas.
  • This is a refreshed programme similar to the one organised in March 2022 (CDI020221233). Teachers who attended the previous workshop need not attend the current event.
  • An optional one-hour Zoom meeting from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday, 25th September will take place for participants who would like additional support with creating their instructional video. Joining the session is voluntary and will not be counted towards the CPD hours for the workshop. A Zoom link will be sent to interested teachers by email.
